Philadelphia vs. WASHINGTON (231)

I sure needed a winner last night and a winner is exactly what I handed you!

30 Dime MLB Total of the Week was the Dodgers-Padres Under 8 runs in a 5-2 final. WINNER, WINNER, Chicken Dinner!!!

Time to raise the bar, up the ante, whatever you'd like to call it.

I'm calling it a winner.

This play tonight is over TWICE AS STRONG as last night's 30 Dime Totals winner on the Dodgers-Padres Under the total.

Time to get after it and secure another line error winner.

Free play for Wednesday on the 76ers-Wizards Over the total.

Washington has dropped all 3 of their games since setting up camp in Orlando and their last pair of losses have held Under the total. Expect this one to head Over as Philadelphia's Over trend has not stopped since arriving in the Magic Kingdom. Brett Brown's team went to the work stoppage having played 6 straight Overs and their pair of games thus far in the NBA bubble have also landed Over the total.

That's 8 straight Overs for the Sixers and 15 Overs played in their last 20 games on the year!

Series numbers also point towards this one seeing more than a few points on the scoreboard as their last meeting in December played Over the total to make it 3 of the last 4 series meetings playing High. The Over also happens to be 7-3 the last 10 times the teams have jumped ball against one another.

Washington has nothing left to play for and while they may be doing some "team bonding" for next season, I doubt they will care all that much about playing defense.

Philly needs to pick off a few wins to up their stock in the Eastern Conference seed-board and they figure to do that here with a big number posted.

Sixers-Wizards Over the total.

Denver vs. San Antonio, at Orland (OVER 225')

By Stephen DeAngelo, Featured Handicapper

Don’t know what to say. Lance Lynn absolutely did his job last night in Oakland, just like I told you he would, yielding just one run and allowing six baserunners in 6 1/3 innings. Unfortunately, the Rangers right-hander got virtually no offensive support, and Texas blew the game in the ninth, giving up a walk-off grand slam in a 1-1 game.

Have I struggled out of the gate during this shortened MLB season? No doubt about it. Have I had similar early-season MLB struggles during my three-plus decades in this business? Damn straight — and a few were even worse than this. Do I almost always turn things around and put my customers well into the black before the season’s final pitch? I’ll let my results answer that one: 9 winning baseball seasons in the last dozen years.

So, yeah, you better believe I’ll get this figured out. One way I’ll do that: By going for the jugular whenever the opportunity presents itself. Well, today, opportunity is pounding on my door with the force of King Kong: I’m raising the bar with my first-ever 50 DIME Interleague Run-Line Lock of the Year.

Let me put this play into perspective for you: Despite last night’s result, I’m still on a 21-14-2 roll with all 30 Dime releases. Tonight’s 50 Dimer? Nearly twice as strong.

Also, way back in January, I gave my clients a 50 Dime NFC Title Game play on the San Francisco 49ers. Result: 49ers 37, Packers 20 in a no-doubt laugher. Tonight’s 50 Dimer? JUST as strong!

Guys, no matter if you’re running hot or cold, you cannot be afraid to pull the trigger on a big play when you know you’ve got the nuts over the oddsmakers. And I absolutely have the nuts with this 50 DIME Interleague Run-Line Lock of the Year.

I’m now 2-for-2 with NBA comp plays since the restart after easily nailing Tuesday’s selection on the Blazers-Rockets UNDER the total. Let’s try to make it three in a row with another NBA total freebie, as we’ll play Wednesday afternoon’s Nuggets-Spurs contest OVER the total.

Neither one of these squads has been interested in playing defense since the restart. In its first two games (125-105 loss to Miami; 121-113 overtime win over Oklahoma City), Denver has surrendered 119 points per game on 48.4% shooting. Meanwhile, the Spurs are three games into the restart and own a pair of upset wins (129-120 over Sacramento and 108-106 over Memphis) and a narrow loss (132-130 over Philadelphia). Along the way, San Antonio has allowed an average of 118.6 ppg on 49.1% shooting.

These teams squared off just once prior to the COVID-19 shutdown, and it was an up-and-down-the-floor shootout, with Denver pulling out a 127-120 victory. Not only did that game go over the total of 216, it skyrocketed over it by 31 points!.

That represented the fifth “over” that has hit in the last seven meetings between these division rivals. Expect that trend to continue, especially if the Nuggets’ Jamal Murray (18.8 ppg) — who has been out with a leg injury since the restart and is questionable tonight — returns to the floor.

Oklahoma City (+6) vs. L.A. LAKERS

That is more like it!

Secured the 30 Dime Line Value Lock winner last night on Colorado in their 5-2 Run Line win over San Francisco.

Need to build off of that winner and I do so with another play equally as strong.

Interleague Best Bet

Brewers-White Sox

The last few days have stunk, no sugar-coating it. Last night was the start I was looking for to turn things around.

Tonight I am all set to build off of that Run Line Winner on the Rockies as I find another winner and recoup some more profits.

The Lakers were able to win and cover their third of eight games in the NBA bubble on Monday as they beat the Utah Jazz 116-108 which clinched the overall # 1 seed for the upcoming Western Conference playoffs to come.

The Thunder have played a pair in the bubble and have split the pair both straight up and against the spread. The OKC win came against Uath, while the loss came their last time out to the Denver Nuggets in overtime. Oklahoma City currently sits in the 6th spot in the standings, but they could definitely boost their seeding with a few wins here to close out the regular season.

I have a feeling that now that Los Angeles has secured the # 1 seed, you may see Coach Fran Vogel ease back on the gas pedal just a little in how many minutes he gives LeBron James and Anthony Davis as they get set for the playoffs to begin. That being the case, have to give the points they are giving to the hungry Thunder a play here on Wednesday night.

Oklahoma City has been a rock-solid play plus the points all season long as they enter this game at 26-10 when getting points. A closer look shows the Thunder at 13-5 when getting +3 to +9 1/2 this season.

Conversely, Los Angeles is just 12-14 when favored by -1 to -7 points. The Lakers have won all 3 of the season series meetings this year, but have only covered in 1 of those 3 victories - all as the favorite.

Los Angeles now has little to play for until the postseason starts and while they won't just lay down and roll over, they certainly need to watch out for any unneeded injuries.

Oklahoma City still with plenty on the line and I see them staying inside of the number today in Orlando.
