- and Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl -
and this play is BIGGER than ALL of them!
This one is another easy money winner.
Major wager winner for the Thursday college basketball card.
Last game before the All-Star break and I expect the Clippers and Wizards to "let it rip" on offense as this final game heads Overt the posted total.
The Clippers snapped a streak of 3 straight Unders with an Over played in Boston on Tuesday night and while Kawhi Leonard is listed as questionable for this contest, I still feel we are going to see enough points on the board for this one to land Over the total.
The Wizards have played their last pair of games Under the total, but 5 of their last 9 overall have landed in the Over column and that does include a February 23rd contest at the Staples Center against the Clippers that landed Over the total by 15 1/2 points!
Series numbers show each of the last 5 meetings between these teams having landed Over the total and 9 of the past 10 overall have also landed Over the total.
I just get the feeling that with the next week off for the break, the offense is going to be ready to net some points tonight.
Let's go Over in the Clips-Wizards for Thursday evening.
4* L.A. CLIPPERS-WASHINGTON OVER
Milwaukee at MEMPHIS (235)
By Trace Adams, Featured Handicapper
A little bump in the road here this week as Florida came up short last night at home.
We have conference tournament action right around the corner and it is time for me to take some momentum into Championship Week.
Still on the plus side in 45 of the last 73 days and I am set to get back to the winning here tonight.
Winning Day # 46 of 74
At $1 bet per unit you are up $14,700 the past 73 days
Winner # 23 of 33 (and 11 of 16)
Big 12 Rivalry Lock
Oklahoma State-Baylor - 7:00 PM
College Hoops Winner # 23 of 37
Let's get after it today in college basketball with this winner.
Thursday's free play is the Bucks and Grizzlies to stay Under the posted total.
Milwaukee may average 119 points per game, but the Bucks are heading into this year's All-Star Break with Unders played in their last pair of games and in 4 of their last 7 games played overall.
Memphis brings an even larger Under streak into their last game before the break, as the Grizzlies have played each of their last 5 and 6 of their last 7 overall Under the posted price.
This is the first meeting of the year for the pair, their last series meeting occurring last August in "bubble play" in Orlando and that game did hold Under the total to make it 2 of the last 3 played between the teams in the Under column.
The oddsmakers always tend to inflate the totals in Milwaukee's games and tonight is no exception.
Go Under in the Bucks-Grizzlies contest in Bluff City tonight.
2* MILWAUKEE-MEMPHIS UNDER
Detroit at NEW YORK (-5)
By Bob Valentino, Featured Handicapper
I have lost my way over the past 2 days as Toronto got absolutely waxed last night by Detroit.
No loss of confidence at all as tonight I have a NBA total that I feel is going to cash in on the late-night card.
Last NBA action before the All-Star break and I have one last total for you to sink your teeth into.
I have hit 7 of my 10 hardwood totals to date and I will hit one here again tonight.
40 Dime Late Night Bailout
Sacramento-Portland - Over/Under - 10:05 PM
Last chance on the Thursday NBA card to make so easy money.
On Tuesday night the Knicks were hammered at San Antonio by 26 points as they saw their first half of the season mark drop back to 18-18 for the year.
I am counting on New York heading to the break with a convincing home win and cover over a Detroit team they just blew-out, 109-90 to end the month of February in the Motor City.
The Pistons just played last night in Tampa against the Toronto Raptors as Detroit actually rocked the depleted Raptors to snap a 3 game losing streak, but the fact remains the Pistons have still lost 6 of their last 8 games. The points have not been of much help during their latest slide, as the Pistons are just 3-5 for the past 8 games I just mentioned.
Friday's win by New York over Detroit puts them on a 3-game series win and cover streak dating back to last season.
With the Knickerbockers standing at 7-4 against the spread this season when favored and Detroit at 8-11-1 when installed as an underdog of +1 to +7 points, willing to lay the chalk with the Knicks who are currently well positioned to make their first playoff appearance in quite some time if they can keep on winning as they have in their first year with Tom Thibodeau as the head coach.
Play the Knicks.
5* NEW YORK
